I take it that the Sportique is pretty well the the most common frame around - I think it's VBB. What's the largest engine I can fit in it? Is it easy to upgrade the wheels to 10 inch? Are there uprated shocks/dampers available or is it just a matter of changing to a fluid with a different vescosity - or is it compressability? Are any necessary parts rare like hens teeth? I'm just trying to get an overall picture on this model because I'm still making up my mind on what classic/vintage Vespa to get - wouldn't we all want an SS180! From what I've seen, pricing seems more reasonable too - depending on condition. I'd appreciate any advice given. Thanks!

Drool! How many tickets are being printed? Could I get them through you? Does it come with a clear title? I suppose there'd be plenty of volunteers to drive it across the border ......

A p200 engine will fit in the bike but then you will have a 10 inch rear. You could always put in a 10in front fork but it will take some modifications to the length of the fork. (basicly cut a few inches off) In the end you would have a super fast bike that looks vintage . Keep in mind it will be small / lightweight and you would have to be an experienced rider not to kill yourself on it.

Unfair if you have to be present to win! ..... The mods for a VBB seem a lot of work.... I should stick to my original idea of getting a Rally - kinda goes with my handle...... besides - 50 mph is one thing but you need a bit of juice if you want to do any passing - so a 200cc is the way to go...... I did see that Euro Rally & I'm so effing jealous I could spit! Nice one!

I take it that these disc brake conversions are bolt on (for a Rally) & all I'd have to do is find a place to mount the "master" cylinder - what is it, all of 3 fluid ounces? and feed the brake line......
